Software Designations:
Portable - Fully portable as is.
Just Works - Not designed to be portable but works portably. May leave misc. files behind.
Requires Extraction - You will have to manually extract the files to make it portable.
Requires Tweaking - A launcher or other means is needed to handle files and registry entries.
